The house of Butterflies in Bordano is an insect oasis featuring 1,000 square feet of heated greenhouses. Bordano lies on the foothills of Monte San Simeone and has over 100 species of butterflies and 50 moths living in the area. The town has nearly 300 murals and modern frescoes that celebrate the beauty and main attraction of Bordano, the butterflies. Visitors of the butterfly house are immersed in nature, where the butterflies fly freely and living creatures roam everywhere.
